There were some big flows into bond ETFs and no bond ETF suffered from an outflow this week. A closer examination shows the inflows were concentrated in the index ETFs. The Vanguard Australian Fixed Interest Index ETF and iShares UBS Composite Bond Index ETF were the two main beneficiaries, receiving just over half of all inflows between the two ETFs.

The Vanguard’s Australian Fixed Interest Index ETF returned 1.02% during February and 2.80% over the last year. iShares UBS Composite Bond Index ETF returned 1.02% and 2.80% over the same time periods.
