Summary:  Large number of rate changes, 6 down, 88 up; notable changes made by Rabobank; AMP offers still highest rate in survey.

There were a large number of rate changes made by banks, building societies and other approved deposit-taking institutions (ADIs) again in this week’s YieldReport survey. Of the 94 changes which took place, 88 took the form of rate increases. None of the major bank raised their respective rates.

Among the smaller ADIs, the most notable changes came from Rabobank Australia. It raised its 3-month rate by just 10bps while its rates on terms of 9 month and longer were increased by a minimum of 90bps and a maximum of 190bps.
