Summary –

Trading margins across ASX-listed bank hybrids were marginally firmer, with most major bank securities posting modest increases of 1–2 basis points. ANZ hybrids continued to lead the sector with the tightest margins, while NAB’s shorter-dated instruments remained at the wider end of the curve.

Major Banks

ANZ’s AN3PI, AN3PJ, and AN3PK traded between 2.27% and 2.44%, unchanged to slightly firmer. CBA’s CBAPL and CBAPK edged higher by 1–2bp, with CBAPL now at 2.56%. NABPJ and NABPK saw similar moves, with NABPF continuing to trade wide at 4.00%. Westpac’s WBCPK held steady around 2.95%.

Other Financials

Margins among non-major financials were more dispersed. Macquarie’s MQGPE and MQGPF traded in a tighter band between 3.28% and 3.75%, while BOQPF and BENPF remained elevated at 3.50% and 3.15% respectively. IAG hybrids held near 3.60%, with little change. SUNPJ was last seen around 3.50%, reflecting stable demand.
