Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 19 ETFs issue additional units, 10 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally higher; SUBD largest percentage price rise; GGOV largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased slightly this week.19 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 10 experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation decreased by 0.4% as the increase in units on issue was more than offset by generally lower ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the VanEck Vectors Australian Subordinated Debt ETF (code: SUBD) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.37%).  the BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (code: GGOV) had the largest price fall over the same period (-2.43%).
