Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased noticeably this week. 26 of the 38 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 7 experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation increased by 2.5% as the net increase in units on issue was bolstered by generally higher prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (code: GGOV) had the largest price increase over the week (+4.26%). The iShares Global High Yield Bond ETF (code: IHHY) had the largest price fall over the same period (-0.45%).
