Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 28 ETFs issues additional units, 9 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally higher; IHEB largest percentage price rise; XARO largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased again this week as 28 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 9 experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation jumped by 3.5% as the increase in units on issue was bolstered by generally higher prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF (code: IHEB) had the largest price increase over the week (+4.78%). The ActiveX Ardea Real Outcome Bond Fund ETF (code: XARO) had the largest price fall over the same period (-0.79%).
