Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 15 ETFs issues additional units, 20 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally lower; XARO largest percentage price rise; GGOV largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased this week even as 15 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 20 experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation rose by 0.1% as the increase in units on issue was largely offset by generally lower ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the ActiveX Ardea Real Outcome Bond Fund ETF (code: XARO) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.12%). The BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (code: GGOV) had the largest price fall over the same period (-1.67%).
