Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 15 ETFs issues additional units, 3 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally higher; ILB largest percentage price rise; GGOV largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased again this week as 15 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 3 experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation rose by 1.1% as the increase in units on issue was bolstered by generally higher ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the iShares Government Inflation ETF (code: ILB) had the largest price increase over the week (+2.30%). The BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (code: GGOV) had the largest price fall over the week (-2.24%).
