Summary: Net fund flow from bond and cash ETF sector; 29 ETFs issues additional units, 7 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally lower; XARO largest percentage price rise; IHEB largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased this week as 29 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while 7 experienced net outflows. However, the sector’s market capitalisation still fell by 0.2% as the increase in units on issue was ouweighed by generally lower ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the ActiveX Ardea Real Outcome Bond Fund ETF (code: XARO) had the largest price increase over the week (+1.26%). The iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF (code: IHEB) had the largest price fall over the week (-7.17%).
