Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector waned this week as four of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while seven experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation declined by 0.5% as the net outflow was exacerbated by generally lower ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the BetaShares Australian Major Bank Hybrids Index ETF (code: BHYB) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.30%). The iShares Government Inflation ETF (code: ILB) had the largest price fall over the week (-1.96%).
