Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 11 ETFs issues additional units, 8 ETFs repurchase units; unit prices generally higher; CRED again largest percentage price increase; IHEB largest percentage price decrease.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased again this week as eleven of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while eight experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation increased by 0.1% as the modest net inflow was slightly bolstered by generally higher ETF prices.

In terms of unit price changes, the BetaShares Australian Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (code: CRED) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.99%). The iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF (code: IHEB) had the largest price fall over the week (-1.56%).
