Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector subsided this week as three of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while nine experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation dropped by 1.4% as the net inflow was exacerbated by generally lower ETF prices.
In terms of unit price changes, the ActiveX Ardea Real Outcome Bond Fund ETF (code: XARO) had the largest price increase over the week (+1.39%). The iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF (code: IHEB) again had the largest price fall over the week (-4.41%).
