Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector grew this week as 22 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows and 14 experienced net outflows, resulting in a net inflow across for the sector. The sector’s market capitalisation increased by a modest 0.2% as generally lower ETF prices partially offset increased unit numbers.

In terms of unit price changes, the SPDR S&P/ASX Australian Government Bond Fund ETF (code: GOVT) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.38%). The BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (code: GGOV) had the largest price decline over the week (-2.13%).
