Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; 18 ETF issues additional units, 13 repurchase units; IHEB largest percentage price increase; DHOF largest percentage price decrease.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector grew again this week as 18 of the 37 ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows and 13 experienced net outflows, resulting in a net inflow across for the sector. However, the sector’s market capitalisation declined by 0.1% as generally lower ETF prices outweighed the increase in issued units.

In terms of unit price changes, the iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF (code: IHEB) had the largest price increase over the week (+0.52%). The Daintree Hybrid Opportunities ETF (code: DHOF) had the largest price decline over the week (-0.71%).
