Summary: Net fund flow to bond and cash ETF sector; nine ETFs issue additional units, three ETFs repurchase units; unit prices higher on average; GGOV largest percentage price rise; TBIL largest percentage price fall.

Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased markedly this week as nine of the 42 ETFs in the sector experienced a net inflow while three experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation increased by 0.9% as unit prices generally rose.

In terms of unit price changes, the BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (GGOV) again had the largest price increase over the week (+3.63%). The VanEck 1-3 Month US Treasury Bond ETF (TBIL) had the largest price fall (-1.72%).
