The RBA’s overnight cash rate target remained unchanged at 4.35% in July. 3-month BBSW and 6-month BBSW both finished the month 4bps higher at 4.49% and 4.78% respectively. Cash futures contracts at the end of the month implied the actual cash rate is likely to be cut once by February 2025. The actual cash rate at the end of July was 4.34%.
