Summary: Very small number of rate changes, 2 down, 9 up; notable changes from Macquarie, Arab Bank; Judo still offers highest rate in survey.

There were a very small number of changes made by banks, building societies and other approved deposit-taking institutions (ADIs) in this week’s YieldReport survey. Of the 11 changes made, 9 took the form of rate increases. No changes were made by the major banks.

Among the smaller ADIs, the most notable changes came from Macquarie Bank. It raised its rates on its terms of 3 months by 5bps while rates on terms of 6 months and 3 years were each increased by 10bps. Terms of 1 year, 2 years, 4 years and 5 years were raised by 20bps each.

The only other notable change came from Arab Bank Australia. Its 5-year rate was increased by 30bps.
