YieldReport is proud to be sponsoring Chris Bailey of Stride the Divide who has committed to walk the Pacific Coast Trail from Mexico to Canada in order to raise money for Opportunity International Australia.
The walk, which begins near the border of Mexico and the United States, is 4,279 kilometres along the west coast of the United States. It crosses 7 National parks, 25 national forests until it reaches British Columbia in Canada. Chris will be carrying everything he needs and camping along the way.
Chris has chosen to support Opportunity International Australia, an organisation supporting mothers living in poverty through the use of micro-finance. Micro-finance offers small loans which allows mothers to start a small business with the purchase of a sewing machine, tools, printing facilities or the purchase of poultry or livestock.
