Investor interest in the Australian bond and cash ETF sector increased significantly this week as 27 of the ETFs in the sector experienced net inflows while just three experienced net outflows. The sector’s market capitalisation jumped by 2.o% as the net inflowed was bolstered by generally-higher prices.
In terms of unit price changes, the BetaShares Global Government Bond 20+ Year ETF (GGOV) again had the largest price increase over the week (+1.65%). The BetaShares Australian Major Bank Hybrids Index ETF (BHYB) had the largest price fall (-0.60%) over the same period.
