Summary: Few rate changes, 4 down, 9 up; notable changes from Macquarie, P&N; AMP Bank offers highest rate in survey.

There were few changes made by banks, building societies and other approved deposit-taking institutions (ADIs) in this week’s YieldReport survey. Of the 13 changes made, 9 took the form of rate increases. No changes were made by the major banks.

Among the smaller ADIs, the most notable changes came from Macquarie Bank. Its 3-month rate was raised by 10bps and its 6-month, 9-month and 12-month terms were all raised by 15bps each.

The other notable changes were made by P&N Bank. Rates on its terms of 1-year or longer were all raised by 10bps.

AMP bank went in the opposite direction and trimmed its rates on terms from 3 months to 9 months by 5bps each.
