Summary: Small number of rate changes; 9 reductions, 2 increases; NAB lowers some rates; only other changes from Bank of Sydney, Beyond Bank, Heritage Bank; highest rate in survey at 5.10%.
There were a small number of rate changes made by banks, building societies and other approved deposit-taking institutions (ADIs) in this week’s YieldReport survey. Of the 11 changes which occurred, 9 took the form of rate reductions.
One of the major banks changed its term-deposit rates. NAB lowered its rates on terms of 3 years and longer by 20bps.
Among the smaller ADIs, the only other changes came from Bank of Sydney, Beyond Bank and Heritage Bank.
