Cameron Hume are interested to learn what influence Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors might have on the views and investment requirements of asset owners in the region.
As you will be aware, ESG considerations have assumed an increasingly prominent role in investment decision making in recent years.
To put the issue into context, the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA) reported that, in 2016, responsible investments had more than quadrupled over the previous three years to $622 billion in assets under management (AUM), with nearly half (44%) of Australia’s AUM being invested through some form of responsible investment strategy.
